Commercial Description:
Moneith's limited release Summer Ale is a refreshing different beer. Its uniquie style dates back to the late 19th century when ther was an adherence to brew with distinctive spices. True to tradition, this bright gold beer's spiciness adds a real flavoursome zest-balance by a touch of Rata honey and four different malts. Try it ice cold with a wedge of orange or lime.

Bottled. Clear golden. Aroma of ginger and lemon. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and a heavy artificial honey and ginger flavour. Much too sweet to be refreshing.

(On tap) Clear, golden with a small, white head. Fresh, lightly spicy aroma of lemon - or perhaps rather lemongrass? Medium body with sweet lemon accents - or again perhaps rather lemongrass. A whiff of ginger also. Somewhat sulphurous in the finish. Mostly reminds me of a German Radler - just with more alcohol. 250108

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Aroma of fruits, ginger and cardemomme with notes of citrus. Flavour of fruits, ginger and cardemomme. Weird.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Lime all over in the flavour and aroma... Lemonade with alcohol in it...
