2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This beer is drinkable as a lite beer. It tastes lageresque, but is so watery that the definition of beer is almost endangered. Not the worst beer, but not a mark in the history of brewers either.

Squeeze a lime in this and it would no doubt work just fine to wash down some Tex-Mex. Unfortunately I had no limes and no Tex-Mex so should have skipped it all together.

Pretty much a watered down Corona, if that is even possible. This is the kind of beer that makes you wonder why it exists as a brand.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Montejo has a thick, somewhat fizzy, white head, and a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, with minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, lightly-roasted, bready malts, and the flavor is of sweet bread, mild hop bitterness, and possibly maize. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Montejo finishes crisp, refreshing, and highly drinkable. RJT

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
This beer is said to be a pilsner and it is not. It’s a typical lager. It has a clear golden-yellow color with medium head. Aroma: smells like grass but nothing more. Tastes like metal and some grains. Watery.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a clear gold yellow. Little head. Aroma Is light sweet corn malt. Taste follows the aroma but is lighter in taste than aroma. Basically carbonated water.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is bread with arguably noble hop notes. Med minus body. Flavor is grainy/malty, and I’m not sure there’s any detectable hop. Not at all obnoxious, but not at all worthy of the label BEER.
