1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Thanks a lot to my parents who picked this up in Cazumel on a trip. Very light gold with a thin white head. The aroma is celery and lettuce with sweet honey. The taste is a light bread with some peanuts and celery. Slight spice of black pepper. Not offensive.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle... Another beer consumed in Cazumel on a warm, humid day. Like most others in the Modelo family, fizzy and nondescript. This one has a touch more malt or adjuncts or whatever. A hint of sweetness. Went well with my conch dish.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Thanks to argo0 for this! Translucent gold with a small white head. Aroma is unsatisfying. Stale hops and wet malt with hints of corn syrup and metal. Taste is vegetal and metallic with light corn syrup notes. Some light citrus(lemon) coming through at times. Body is overcarbonated but finishes thin and somewhat dry. Overall finish is thin malt, light corn syrup and is watered down. Can’t win them all...

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank this 14 kilometers from the Belizean border in the Southern Yucatan.
Basically a light pale clear lager that is clean and refreshing, but more thirst quenching than satisfying. Better than a Corona, but there are better beers in the area than this one.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Sparkling pale straw with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bready. Taste is exceedingly mild, with a bit of grainy carbonation the only way to tell it from water. Light body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 Good, one, not sure what else to say about it, it has a little sawer flavor but is’t nothin special. It has a blonde colour but giving the impression of being brown. It’s said the closest you get it to Yucatan, the best it tastes.

Had this at Cancun Airport. Yellow, fizzy plain boring macro lager. Decent body but nothing special at all.
