UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 Good, one, not sure what else to say about it, it has a little sawer flavor but isít nothin special. It has a blonde colour but giving the impression of being brown. Itís said the closest you get it to Yucatan, the best it tastes.

12 oz can in Mexico. Pretty typical of the Mexican pilseners being light and lacking body. Still, not too bad for a hot afternoon on the beach.

Really good beer, great when you hot and thirsty or having a Mexican meal. No bitterness.

OK, to get a few things out of the way: (1) I donít like Mexican beer (2) I donít typically like really light beer (3) Iím not a fan of the Pale Lager. Now, that said, I liked this beer. Drank from the bottle in San Miguel Cozumel. Pours a very light yellow color, and quite clear. Like every other Mexican beer, it has a fair amount of carbonation. What sets this beer apart from the Sol/Tecate/XX/Corona crowd is that it actually manages to have some flavor.

My next few reviews would mostly be mexican beers with some american tossed in too, since I am on a trip around Yucatan at this moment.
ABV 4.5 %
355 ml can†poured into a plastic cup. Clear golden yellow colour with a half finger head that disappeared immediately. Average amount of bubbles into the glass.†
As with most mexican beers aroma is not that easy to distinguish. Nothing here too, just a "beery" †smell that is pleasant though.
Taste is good, but nothing you can put your finger on, itís not bitter, itís not sweet. Maybe somewhere in the middle.
Medium thickness on the body and slight carbonation.
Overall, slighty better than your average mexican beer.

Got one of these in Puerta Maya Mexico. Nice Mexican beer. No real flavor or aroma I could distinguish, just a nice, crisp refreshing beer. Best Mexican beer Iíve had.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2009 After ordering this beer in Puebla, Mexico, and noticing how light it was, I just assumed it would be a horrible drink like Sol or Corona, but when I tasted it I was impressed. It pours very well and the appearance is very pale, almost clear, but has a surprisingly smooth flavor. If you want an alternative to the typical Mexican light beers, this is a good choice.

Clear coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of metal, lemons, salt and cardboard. Light-bodied; Sharp flavoured metal tastes along with cardboard, malt and a super small amount of hops. Overall, about the same mexican lager as the others, nothing too special from this one. I sampled this 355 mL bottle purchased from LObby LOunge in the Sheraton Centro Historico in Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City), Mexico on Cinco de Mayo, 2007.
