50 cl bottle from Meny Kolsås. Pours golden with a large creamy off white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, with citrus and grassy notes. Fresh teaste with notes of hop, citrus and grass. Light bitterness, medium body and medium carbonation. A good golden ale.

500ml bottle from Eurospar Tomasjordnes. For once I decided to try a brew under the right conditions. I have the rare opportunity to sample "Sunshine" on an exceptionally warm evening in Tromsø. Pours a hazy orange body under a huge foamy head that diminishes and leaves beautiful lace work on the glass. Flowers, fresh hops and some citrus to the nose. More citrus in taste than in aroma, flowers and herbs are also noticeable. Round and dry finish. Very good drink under the Midnight Sun :-)

Bottle 500ml @ Haakonm
Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, peach, grass and hint of cooked vegetables. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Flaske 0,5l fra Kjeller 5. Lys gylden. Høyt luftig skum som varer. Litt lacing. Forsiktig syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken svakt maltig med en tørr fruktig avslutning. Litt tynn - men en god tørsteslukker.

Fin frisk duft av frukter og en anelse eikeduft. Tykt hvitt skum. Fin lys gulbrun litt dunkel farge. God frisk fruktig smak, lettdrukket og god.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is weak citrussy and flowery hops. Very high carbonated. Taste is light crisp hops, nutty malty body, well balanced and easy drinkable golden ale, with a light dry spicy and herbal lingering finish.

Quite poor, actually. I can’t get anything out of neither taste or aroma, and in the end I actually wondered if there was anything in this one that was meant to characterize it...

Off-white foamy head, golden to slightly amber body, a bit foggy, visible small bubbles though. Scents; flowers (perfume like), apples, hops, some pale malts, undefined spicy hints. Taste; hops, apple peel, one drop lemon, two drops of grapefruit, small bite of bread. Fruity fresh to palate. Mild finish, some bitterness, slightly dry, the peel fades away together with hops, tiny malt, and a tiny tiny drop of lemon. (Abv 4.2% 500ml brown bottle, b@Kjeller5 Tromsø Norway, enjoyed@home 27.01.2014).

500ml bottle from Kjeller 5 in Tromsø. Dense and frothy white head with good retention and patchy lacework. Golden body, slightly hazy. Fresh floral hoppy nose joined by pale malts. Citrus to the taste buds, lemon and orange, dusty and earthy. Clean mild bitter end, semi-dry. Soft in the mouth. Refreshing and a fine partner to a rather spicy pizza. Just the right one to celebrate the return of the sun after two months of darkness in the extreme north (Tromsø 25.01.2014).
