COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a light Belgian Pale ale with a seamless blend of yeast and hop aroma, such that you can’t tell where one ends and the other starts. The palate is dry and slightly tart, with a moderate Belgian texture.

Nice Refreshing beer. Slight tang from the hops and yeast combining nicely. Bitter with slight banana flavour. Subtle but enjoyable and interesting.

Copperish have, thin oily head. Lots of yeast, banana and clove on the nose. Smoothly bitter in the mouth, a bit of funk, a bit of spicy hops. Quite nice; a light dubbel, or a slightly funky APA. Nicely done.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber gold with slight white head. Nice aroma with spicey pepper notes balanced with sweeter notes including white chocolate and stone fruit. Nice palate with plentiful fine carbonation giving a velvety mouthfeel. Flavour is a little disappointing after this build up, but still good. It starts of with a rich and nicely balanced combination of smooth sweetness, spice, banana esters and hints of stone fruit, but the taste then loses complexity leaving a rather harsh aftertaste. Overall a pretty good beer, but not quite right in the finish.

Pours dark amber with a large frothy head. Nose shows phenolic and esters of Belgian yeast, along with pleasant doughy notes. Apricot? soft fruity hops with hints of grapefruit. The flavours are typical to the Belgian style, with more light fruit, alcohol and doughy notes showing. Underneath is some sweet bread malt and caramel, followed by a bold, mild hop bitter finish. Pleasant and not too complex.

Amber in the glass with a thin head. Excellent aroma is candi sugar, belgian yeast, orange, sweet malt, a little spice and pepper, and strangely for such a low ABV beer, some alcohol. Things go a little downhill after the nice aromas, taste is a bit one dimensional with only sweet malt and dry pepperiness. Lacks body and one suspects the lack of ABV is the culprit. Not sure ive had a beer in this style with such low ABV. Carbonation is also quite flat, in contrast from what youd expect from a Belgian style ale. Finish is medium short and a bit tart. A near-miss this one for me.

@Harrigans. Bottle. Orange amber 10mm white head. Belgian yeast up front with citrus spice and herbs sweet malty bread and caramel. Slightly sweet and medium bitterness. Body is a bit light but like the dryness and bitterness in the finish. Great beer.

A-- Poured a clear honey orange color. Nice, small stream of carbonation beads with this. Thick one finger bright white head with this. Had to swirl aggressively to get it though. Settled nicely at half a finger. Left a few strands of lacing with this. Nice looking. S-- Get Belgian yeast and a lot of orange, lemon grass, and lemon/ orange rind. Good nose. T-- Candied orange, candied lemon but falls off quickly to a thin, watery taste. Finishes with a bit of a tart lemon and orange kick. M-- Thin, quite thin. Light carbonation for this and shows how thin the body is. Needs a bigger malt body as the flavors really drop off until the finish. Lingering but tart slight lemon finish does help but the mid is just bland. O-- Nice in some ways and in others just bland. Up the malt and AVB to 5.5% or near 6% and this would be quite nice and refreshing. Low ABV shows a very thin, watery body. Intentions are good but intentions are not enough.

Clean, crisp and hoppy pale Belgian. Decent malt flavour and bitter grassy hops.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours bright orange with a small white head which quickly disappears. Looks awesome. Nose is overly sweet citrus - very lemon focused. A touch of biscuit malt in there as well. Taste shows some doughyness surrounded by lemon zest. Light tang with a very dry finish. Not bad. Some assertive bitterness on the finish is washed out by spritzy carbonation. You can see where the american influence has come in. Nicely done and very easy drinking. Solid beer and worth a go. Damn refreshing
