4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy straw colour with a white head. There is a very strong aroma of pineapple and other tropical fruits. The taste has a hint of pine resin and slight bitterness which is medium lasting on the palate. An excellent pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. They nailed the look and aroma on this - a lovely orange amber, slightly hazy, big foamy white head with great lacing. The aroma pops with big floral notes, some pine, caramel. Unfortunately the taste is quite thin and aqueous, the flavour of tropical fruit, citrus and malt is present but thin. It’s easy drinking but lacks the bitterness I want these days in a PA. Promised to be great, ended up good, just behind others available in Oz these days.

Yeah, its a pale ale - good quality in most respects with worthwhile aroma and creamy body. Certainly drinkable, but I couldn’t help thinking there are lots of good pale ales and most better value.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orange pour with thin white head. Tropical fruit and caramel aromas. Taste is malty, passionfruit, but a bum note to it, seems flat and the finish is a bit off. Could be a dud bottle, will re rate one day

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours cloudy golden color with a small head. Big fruity hop aroma. Medium malt body and a rather floral / piney taste with a prominent bitter finish. Good carbonation. A stronger malt body would make this beer a winner.

A nice American pale ale, a reliably good moobrew beer but not exceptional. 330 ml bottle in Hobart.
