| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2009 330 ml bottle courtesy of alagnak. This was lableed as Moo Brew Hefeweizen, I assume this is the beer. Pour is couldy yellow golden with a frothy 1 1/2 inch white head. Aroma of mild banana fruit and bubble gum sweetness. Both express in a pretty generic hefe manner. The wheat is present, though also subdued. Taste is a bunch of sweet banana up front, almost an unnatural banana sweet, then it turns a touch citric, then it gives in to the mineral earthy wheat. The tail end of this beer was actually pretty nice, if it wasn’t overpowered by the sweet banana up front. The yeast turns a bit dirty in the finish, with a weird dirty clove thing going on. Palate is medium to full, though still quite easy drinking. Thanks for hauling this one back and sending it my way Chris. alagnak (386), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 2, 2009 Bottle purchased in Sydney and hauled back. Really small, unimpressive head for a hefe, aroma is also quite subdued. Flavor is something else, classic banana and bubblegum, with some nice tartness and musty wheat backbone. Crisp and dry finish, great summer session-er if not for the high price (and, if you’re not located in Australia, the availability). NoiZe (1392), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

Vanilla, banana aroma. Yeasty, lemon. Banana in aftertaste. Thick and refreshing. Spesh1 (43), , Australia

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2008 Straw coloured white thin white head that dissapeared quickly. Strong bubblegum, banana and other tropical fruits aroma. Sour flavour matched well with sweet malt and the hops presence is noticable. Excellently balanced. High carbonation. Taste like a real ’hef’, yeasty, bananas, bubblegum. Very enjoyable. blackbock (35), Australia
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2008 (Bottle) First few mouthfuls were chock a block full of the typically expected banana, clove and vanilla aromas & flavours.
Colour was a bit on the pale side for my liking.
Once the head was slurped up, the rest of the glass did not have a massive amount of flavour, but I thought it was a fairly good example of the style.
Would try again, but a bit pricey. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured a muddy pale straw color with a small rocky head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of sour dough-like malts with freshly made apple juice, dried banana’s, lemon sorbet, cinnamon and some straw. Flavor was similar to aroma with a sour-dough bitterness, lemon zest, fresh apple juice, hints of pears, dried banana’s (mild), straw and some cinnamon. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/creamy mouthfeel, watery texture and a good finish. Quite sessionable.
