Light fruity aroma. Cloudy pale amber colour with poor head. Very smooth flavor with a nice finish. Light to medium body with creamy feel and low carbonation.

Bottle. Quite carbonated. Nose is very yeasty and full of banana and spices. Taste is more banana, yeast, bready malts and spice. Not my thing

Cap releases with little noise at all. It pours softly and settles headless bar a ring of white. Fine carbonation streams amid it hazy, pastel yellow body. Nose has hints of lemon cordial, mace, clove and matchsticks, light rubber and white grapejuice. Quite tangy and tight on the palate with a dominant flavour of underripe banana and sour lemon juice. A little perfume musk lingers. Grainy, pasty mouthfeel with a dry, wheat malt and clove finish. Low carbonation with a medium-light body. Alright drinking stuff but far from groundbreaking. From a 330ml bottle on 4/10/2013 (labelled ’Hefeweizen’ rather than ’Wheat Beer’). Pours a cloudy straw with very little head. The aroma features some clove, spice and some earthy yeast. The flavour is fairly typical for a hefe, with banana, clove, some spicy notes and a touch of lemon. Has a medium body and lively carbonation. Okay but far from inspiring.

Bottled, stubbie shared on two, during the brewery tour at Moorilla Estate Brewery, Winery, and Gallery, Hobart, on August 9, 2013.
As their "Hefeweizen".
Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head. Sweet, estery banana, phenolic clove, some smoke scent. Malty, sweet, banana taste. Banana aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Pours a cloudy yellow/gold. Banana and citrus are most evident. Quite light bodied for an unfiltered beer. Not overly complex, however it has strong tastes of citrus peels. Particularly orange and lemon peel. It’s rare to find a decent non-German hefeweizen, but this passes the test.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a finger of white foamy head. Nose banana, clove, light orange peel. Taste is more banana, clove, bread dough, and a crisp bitterness. Not bad but simple and not very strong flavours.

Tap at Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy yellow. Orange, lemon peel and spice aroma. Taste is similar, nice light citrus sweetness with a touch of bready malt. Soft body and carbonation make this really pleasant on the tongue.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy light gold, with a tiny and rapidly fading white head, which leaves no lace. It is very typically weizen in aroma, with banana and cloves prominent. Faint lemon up front leads through some cloves into sweet banana in the mid-palate. Cloves and some spicy yeast notes come through in the finish. I am usually pretty suspicious of non-German hefeweizens, but this one is a credible, if somewhat simplistic, effort. Whilst it is not terribly complex, it is a nice, highly refreshing summer beer.

Hints of banana and clove; well made hef. Typical German style. A bit over carbonated ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
