Tap at Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy yellow. Orange, lemon peel and spice aroma. Taste is similar, nice light citrus sweetness with a touch of bready malt. Soft body and carbonation make this really pleasant on the tongue.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy light gold, with a tiny and rapidly fading white head, which leaves no lace. It is very typically weizen in aroma, with banana and cloves prominent. Faint lemon up front leads through some cloves into sweet banana in the mid-palate. Cloves and some spicy yeast notes come through in the finish. I am usually pretty suspicious of non-German hefeweizens, but this one is a credible, if somewhat simplistic, effort. Whilst it is not terribly complex, it is a nice, highly refreshing summer beer.

Aroma is coriander seeds and bubblegum. Appearance is cloudy with a touch of head. Taste is banana, bubblegum and apple. Palate is bland. Overall, not bad.

Bright pale lemony in appearance with a thick head that disappointingly doesen’t last. It has soft drink like carbonation that looks terrible. It has a clovely aroma typical of wheatbeers and a sweetish malt flavour with some residual bitterness...2.5 might be generous...

Bottle. Bright, clear golden pour with a small bubbly white head that doesn’t last long. Grainy aroma is a little musty with notes of banana, lemon, cloves and bread. Flavour is more yeasty and has a slight hint of sourness, but otherwise is pretty similar to the aroma. Oily mouthfeel with loads of carbonation and a short bitter finish. Overall this isn’t the best Australian example of the style and while it’s not a bad beer, it’s just not that good either.

Pours a slightly cloudy light gold with very little lacing and citrus/wheat aroma. The taste is a decent sweeter citrus flavor with alot of light malt backing. This is a decent wheat beer but for $23 for a 4 pack it doesn’t seem with it ( although the pale ale is).

Classy champagne-styled bottle labelled "Moo Brew Hefeweizen". Pours straw yellow with a decent white head. Nose has all the characteristics of the style (banana, cloves, bubblegum) but the palate is rather thin for the style with the flvaours being rather subdued compared to the better classic Bavarian hefes. Decent effort from a local brewer though.

Received 330 bottle via trade with jonno. Pours a semi-clear golden straw colored brew with a heavy and thick off-white head that long retains a rocky and pillow head. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of tropical fruit and banana esters. Taste is medium bodied, well balanced between golden grain, yeast and some light fruit character. Finish semi-sweet, a little banana aftertaste and a fresh floral hop flavors.

Huge rocky white head on a hazy yellow body. And now I realize that I inadvertently copied the description. Very clean hefe aroma - one of the best I’ve smelled in years. The body is quite clean, with some banana ester flavors. A very solid offering.
