COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Somewhere between a smashable lager and a hoppy IPA lives our beautiful and wonderful Love Tap Double Lager. It has a pig on the label, wearing a hat, a monocle and a bow tie. Very fancy pig indeed. Well suited to a very fancy beer.

Fruity tropical hop aroma, clear pale straw colour, small frothy head. Like an IPA without malt backing it up - this makes the finish somewhat bitter without malty sweetness to balance, seems more bitter than its stated 34 IBUs. Pretty good, an interesting lager, something different.

330ml bottle. A clear golden amber with a solid, lasting and lacing one-finger white head atop. Fragrant aromas of tropical fruits balanced by a fresh, long hop bitterness in the finish. Quite a firm mouthfeel with medium-ish carbonation on a light to medium body. Well balanced and plenty of character; also deceptively drinkable given its ABV.

330ml bottle into middie glass. Hoppy nose with some malt. Cloudy golden amber, creamy small head. Little carbonation. Bitter taste with even more bitter aftertaste. There’s some toasted malt and alcohol notes mixed in there. Not really a lager, not really a pils, not an IPA. Interesting but not really enjoyable.

Presents well. Nice fine bubbles. Aroma is slight floral. Mouthfeel is like velvet. Good malt body. Finish is citrus and dry. Very refreshing. All seasons in one mouthful . This Moon Dog is quite session able Great work as usual Moon Dog.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique August 2013. Much the same as the first version with a solid amber colour and good body.

Pours a hazy golden with a fine white head. Nose is pineapple, passionfruit, orange, caramel. Flavor is light and crisp, slightly spicy, some juicy passionfruit, lagery finish. Pretty good.

Pours a golden yellow with a shall white head. Fresh hop aroma, some floral and sweet citrus. Taste is quite typical for a lager, just more of everything. Finishes crisp with some orange. The older edition was better however, but I assume this has been made to be more sessionable

Has a vanilla aroma. Bit of floral but not strong. Beautiful mouthful. Smooth with nice citrus on the tongue. Lingering after taste. Great label. Top beer. Nice punch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Semi-hazy gold, rocky uneven head. Fresh hops apparent in nose, touch of spice and yeast. Flavours of sweet fruit, slightly tart finish. Crispness of the lager was nice.
