3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bottle. Pours a very cloudy orange, lasting white head, strong fruity hops flavours with a lingering bitterness on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy golden orange with a white head. Aroma is more of a farmhouse ale than a typical lager. Some citrus and tropical fruit. Initial flavour is sweet malt, followed quickly by sweet citrus. It goes down like an APA, but with the distinctive lager taste. More bitterness than I have seen in a lager like this before.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is probably as challenging as lager gets. Full palate, apricot, very fruity, funky aniseed from the alcohol. I really think this has appeal.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
on tap at the local taphouse in sydney. clear amber with plentiful lacing; decent blend of herbaceous and tropical aromas; spritzy; clean and pleasant, just could have used more bitterness to have been extra-impressive

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy peach-amber in colour with a rocky white head that is clinging to the side of the glass. An aroma that smells more like saison than lager: that fragrant citrus and slightly sour aroma. Tropical? It is upon tasting with guava, peaches and lychee aplenty and gentle bitterness and slight sourness that is quite refreshing. A curious creature this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a cloudy honey amber colour with a one-finger white foamy head that retained well and laced OK with sudsy rings. Aroma of sweet citrus and sweet hops. Taste initially of sweet malt but qui8ckly followed by nice but quite bitter hops and a hint of spices. Medium body. Smooth, long hoppy bitterness finish. Bit pale ale-like. Quite good.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml brown bottle. Now called a "double lager" with ABV of 5.9% and 34 IBUs. Aroma is lemony with notes of passionfruit, nectarine and grapefruit. Palate is medium bodied and lively with initial lager malt sweetness followed by a decent tropical hop bitterness that lingers. Think more APA than lager. I’m not complaining...

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the royston. Pours a deep golden/orange with a small white cap. Nose is heavy on passionfruit, citrus and Belgium yeast. Taste is passionfruit bitterness. Even a hint of spices in there. Says low ibus but tastes real bitter. This is really good happy with the take on this style.

Awesome head atop a golden colour. Grapefruit flavour right up front with a well balanced hoppiness followed again by a grapefruit bitterness aftertaste. Big fan.
