COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From Josh the brewer: "Uses NZ hops, heaps of blended turkish dried apricots in the boil. Rather delish! 9.2 per cent, smooth bitterness. I’m incredibly hung over and haven’t been home yet so am struggling for much in the way of descriptors……… sorry!”

Tap. Dark orange pour with no head. Nose is damn tasty smelling. Loads of summery apricot and slight grass. Smells super fresh and tropical. Taste is all apricot backed by a touch of sweet caramel. Only downfall is the palate. A very flat beer. Not really any carbonation. A little bit could work very well here. Way too easy drinking for a 9% beer!

Davros (1484) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 9, 2012

Pours amber with a small, lasting head. Nose shows over-ripe apricot, some caramel and resinous hops. The apricot character is pretty tempting! Flavours still focus on apricot, but seem somewhat musty, like dried apricots. Lots of caramel, but also a smoked malt character, pretty interesting! Body seems a bit too syrupy and thick.
