2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 330ml @Beer Hunters
Opaque black color, steady brownish head. "Smokey", kirsebaer aroma. Very light body for 7.6% beer! Some tobacco notes, toasted flavors, some cellar ... more or less toasted finish. Where is cherry? Where is bretta? Dissapointing.

211113. Bottle at O’Hara’s. Pours dark ruby with a small head. Aroma cherries, cardamom, gingerbread. This would make an awesome Christmas beer without the cherries. Not Bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Strong sour cherry aroma, very smooth and full of flavour. An interesting beer but the cherry reminds me of medicine so I can’t rate it to highly.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle. O'Hara's, Tampere, Finland.
Black colour with a red hue and small tan head.
Cherry, red berries, sourness and farmyard in a funky aroma. The flavour is roasted malt (which apparently is wheat), ashy darkness, sourness and hoppy bitterness. Some cherry tones there too. Cough drops, cherry liqueur and stout put together.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle) Dark shiraz red/brown. Aroma of offal. Thin head. Sour roasty taste. Extremely dry and acidic/metallic finish. I could not imagine the cherries in there. A beer of character, but most likely of a dubious character! I think they tried too hard to be original with this.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle (Hilpea Hauki, Helsinki)
Black cherry aroma, but a curious brett funkiness that’s perhaps a bit forced. Simple palate, crisp carbonation. Quite a lot of toasty roast, burnt toast, but not ashy. Maybe a little fizzy, but you shouldn’t be glugging this anyway. However, despite its strength, this is pleasant filling the whole mouth, and has no heat at all. (i.e. I could glug it.) It’s very much an experimental concept but even though you can’t categorise it, it’s worthy. Finish is very nicely bitter, a real dry bitter tingle. Is it messed up, or is it genius? Neither, it’s kinda weird, and that’s a good thing.
