2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15.
Clear golden with a moderate off white head that retains well.
Nose is light vanilla, citric peel, straw.
Taste comprises light caramel, straw, faint lemon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
The blandometer is high on this one ... rising through amber.
Bit of a nothing bier!

4oz on tap at the brewpub. Clear golden orange color. Thin ring of white white head, no lace. Just kind of bready, grainy malt. Moderate sweet taste. Light carbonation. Not bad, but very plain and boring. Very mild flavor.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Clear, very pale gold. Dry, mild malt aroma. Crackery, dry, sort of kolschy. Lightish body, gives an initial astringent aftertaste. Dissapointed with this one. On tap, New Year’s Eve 2014.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rated on 02-23-2013 at Moon River B.C. This draft beer has a very small off-white head with a long retention, transparent golden body, no visible carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is light earthy hops, toasty and caramel malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, earthy hops, toasty, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is easy to drink, not overly hoppy tasting and is a session EPA beer.

Nice basic English ale. I might call it an esb, but it’s a little light for that.
