This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated light golden brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The almost non-existent aroma was malty. The semi-flat mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of crystal malt mild caramel wheat hops malt and bread dough. An OK brew just nothing special.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear bronze color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. The aroma consists of pale malts and caramel. Light body with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Just average overall.

Tap. Hazy caramel with thin white head. Smells a bit like dirty feet and honey. Astringent with a honey note and a dry finish.

...had it on tap at the brewpub. It had some nice fruit flavors on the nose, and was balanced well with the malt. Finished dry with low carbonation and no head. That’s all I remember, need to have it again.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Moon River in Savannah, GA. Appearance is cloudy slightly light amber, thin white head. Aroma maybe a bit of toasted malt, kind of buttery, unique. Taste is mostly like buttered toast, definite ale yeast presence, its ok.

Sampler. Light amber color. Aroma of pale malts, some biscuit and caramel. Taste has a heavy malt backbone, some earthy hops. A good taste of an English-style Pale Ale. 7 Mar 12. (3321)

coolpop (1163) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 1, 2012
Draft at the brewpub. Poured clear copper with a smallish off-white head. Aroma was spicy, earthy English hops -- fugglicious? -- and caramel. Flavor was caramel, toffee, and some tropical fruit -- not quite right, but not bad. Thin mouthfeel -- which seems to be the case with all the Moon River beers I tried.

Clear copper in color... Aroma is slightly off, kind of dish soapy... Flavor is biscuity malts with notes of caramel with English hops that become more apparent on the palate... Decent, better than the aroma would suggest...

burg326 (2326) - Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2012
On tap at Moon River, poured a yellow amber color with aromas of sweet malt, touch of roast, some earth, and some caramel. Flavor is the same, nothing special, maybe a hint of mango. Again nothing special here, but decent none the less.

Nice fruity mango aroma. Banana esters in the flavor as well as a bit of biscuity malt notes. There is a slight funkiness to this beer that peeks through at the end and diminishes the initial flavors. Not terrible, but not great.
