On tap @ Moon River / Savannah GA --- Clear golden amber, thin head cover, stripes of lace. Taste is straight malt with caramel fizz joining the mix in the palate, light battering to finish. Easily drinkable, even pleasant, but a little on the light side.

A pint poured at the Pirate House Restaurant in Savannah. Pours with a tin white head, golden brown colour. Tastes of grass, toasty malts. An alright beer.

Bright hazy golden color. Grassy herbal hops run amok in the aromas and flavors. A bit of caramel malt to balance. Nice sessionable drink.

5/22/13. On tap at the brewery. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Light grass, earthiness, bread, and caramel in the aroma. Malty bread, toast, caramel, and earthiness with a light leafy hop kick. Not bad.

Tap at Moon River. It pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is earth, grass, caramel, toast, stone fruit and wood. The taste is crisp, grassy bitterness, light toast, touch of caramel, mellow fruitiness and light bitterness with a clean, dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Fairly straight-forward, but enjoyable nonetheless.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated light golden brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The almost non-existent aroma was malty. The semi-flat mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of crystal malt mild caramel wheat hops malt and bread dough. An OK brew just nothing special.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear bronze color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. The aroma consists of pale malts and caramel. Light body with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Just average overall.

Tap. Hazy caramel with thin white head. Smells a bit like dirty feet and honey. Astringent with a honey note and a dry finish.
