En fût. Verre de dégustation directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Légère odeur de céréales. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle avec une très faible densité de bulle. Présence d’une mince col et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Légèr goût de céréales et de citron. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de zeste de citron en arrière goût. (Rating #2251)

Golden, sparkly. Light fresh bread aroma. Bread, light herbal hop palate. No overly kolsch-like, but a nice basic beer.

Clear straw golden with very small head. Grassy aroma, slight caraway. Clean, dry finish but thin mouthfeel. Nicely hopped. Dry and drinkable with lingering bitterness. Not bad at all.

Not good, tasted like a bad pilsener. Grainy and grassy taste with unpleasant aroma. Weak and watery with very low carbonation.

From a sampler on 10/25/08. Golden in color. Light grainy aroma. Light and crisp with some sweet fruity notes.

Draft at brewpub. Clear golden with a small but lasting creamy head that leaves some spotty lace. Faint aroma of malt. Flavor of grain and light tart apple, with a nice delicate balance of grassy hop. Light body is tingly and dryish.

Pours light golden color, light white head, light taste, sweet w/ just a little hop that is overpowered by malt, decent crispy finish, not a particularly special beer

Pours a light golden color with small whie head. Very light tasting with maybe a small amount of hops in the finish. On par with others I’ve had of this style but nothing special.

On tap at the brewpub. Kolsch works if you get it right, but it seems to be easy to get wrong and here I got a thin higher carbonated sweet-sourness that wasn’t intended and did not work together.

Pours a pale, clear straw with a thin white head. Aroma is thin - some grain, some grassy hops. The flavor is very light and delicate - typical of the style. It is, actually, quite flavorful for a Kolsch due it being served a little bit warmer than typical for the style. Not bad.
