Hance07 (158), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Mar 2, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with minimal head. Flavor is sweet from the dixie crystal but not overdone. Not for everybody but definately worth trying. jeremytoni (464), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Feb 18, 2008 from the tap poured a clear golden with very little head. Flavor was sweet with a heavy alcohol finish. Sammy (2779), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 9, 2008 At the brewpub in Savannah. Sweet from the dixie sugar, in the style of a Belgian with candi. Despite its extreme sweetness, it was darn drinkable, and there is graininess from yeast and wheat. I liked it, and damn good on a winter Georgia night that would be spring back home.
jcwattsrugger (3381), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Feb 1, 2008 on tap-pours a white ring for a head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet light fruit-pineapple, light grain. Taste is sweet light fruit-pineapple, light grain, some spice, alcohol, yeast. Syrupy malt. Quick/short finish. Nice. aracauna (2122), Georgia, USA Jan 19, 2008 Crystal clear gold, but a little pale for the style. Nice, bone white head tops it. Very fruity, yeasty aroma like spiced peaches. Apricot fruitiness overwhelms the pale malt, but there’s just enough bitterness to balance. Dangerously drinkable.
