3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Moon River. Unfiltered ruby amber-brown. Thin, oily glass rimming head. Distinct authentic sour aroma. Sort of watery, very mild carbonation. True to style, very mild dark malts, and a lactic tone everpresent. Could have benefited from a more lively effervescence. Still really enjoyable, great flavor profile.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours the same nut brown color as their Brownie Wounie. The nose is tart but has some sweets a la a Flemish brown. The flavor is a little sweet but has a decent tartness with a little nail polish remover. It lacks depth but it’s not terrible. It’s one of those beers that makes you wonder if they meant for this to happen or if a batch of the brown got infected.
