COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like its namesake, this strong ale is known for the sneak attack. Hop-heads will enjoy its assertive bitterness and huge floral, dry hop aroma.

Nice hop bite. My favorite of the lighter styles here. Very drinkable. Not the best ever, but pretty good.

Draft at the brewery. Pours Clear copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes like very musky citrus, resin, hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet musk, light.citrus, light dough.

Tap at the brewery. Transparent amber with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma is pretty sweet, definitely some citrus. Taste is missing the nice hoppiness I was expecting.

Tap at brewery. Pours clear golden amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready and biscuit malts, grassy hops, and faint tropical fruit esters. Flavor is dry malts, medium hop bitterness, light citrus esters, and faint funk. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

On tap @ Moon River / Savannah GA --- Clear medium amber, solid head cover, sheets of lace. Looks like a beer should look. Taste is caramel malt and later, mild hop bitters. There is hardly buttering to qualify this as an IPA. Thinking of it as a pale ale, it comes off much better. Quite good, just don’t get lost looking for hops.

Crystal clear amber pour. Thin white head. Hoppy orange aroma. Fruity, estery flavor. Light bitter finish. Touches of pine in the finish. Not exceptionally complex or interesting, but clean and drinkable.

Draft at Moon River. Orange pour with a frothy white head. Dry hop aroma with citrus and pine backed by a caramel, bready malt sweetness. Sweet flavor in the front with citrus bitterness coming through in the end. Not bad.

Tap at Moon River. It pours clear amber with a thick white head. The nose is light toast, orange peel, tangerine, pine, biscuit and faint caramel. The taste is light toast, tangerine, orange, earth, light bitterness, hay, straw, biscuit and underlying sweetness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice bitter-sweet balance.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent light orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of mild caramel and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.
