served with a nutty cinamon sugar rim around the glass, clear copper, thick dirty white head, lots of scattered lace,
aroma is all cinamon sugar from the rim,
sweet caramel malt flavor, good bready character, nice touch of some other starchy character that I guess must be patato, light earthy hops keep it mostly dry,
hard to judge with the special rimmed glass but that adds the most character to what might otherwise be a mostly gimic basic amber ale,

Oct 27, 2007 4 oz. sampler. Pours a clear, light orange. Small, white head. Mouthfeel is bitter. Notes of caramel malt. The sweet potato is a interesting flavor. Decent beer, but not my favorite.

Nov 24, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Light orangeish pour, decent white head. Aroma not very prominent - hint of sugary sweetness. Flavor has some decent bitter notes, hints of yams, cotton candy. Slightly bland though. Smooth mouthfeel.

Nov 16, 2006 This one is a clear copper with a fuzzy head, served without the optional spicing and pumpkin seeds. There’s a light caramel maltiness and a faint (very) hop bite.
