3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a color like cola. Nice lacing. Nose is chocolate malt. Taste is flat and somewhat bland. Then again, I'm not a fan of Irish stout. Not bad, but not a favorite.

4oz on tap at the brewpub. Labeled 4.1%. Great espresso flavor to this. Mild, but it’s there, and nice. Not much else to it, though. Black color. Thin brown head. Dots and bits of lace. Decent retention. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Tastes light, like the others, but in this case it’s appropriate for the ABV. Lighter body. Light carbonation. Would be a great one to swig a pint of. I suppose thats what it made more.
