Very nice roasted start. I like this one. Malty, not much hops. Good example of a porter.

Draft at the brewery. Pours very dark.brown with a fizzy tan head. Tastes like dull old coffee, burnt coffee, and roasted malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like old burnt coffee, dull malt.

Tap at brewery. Pours dark brown with creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa, light prunes, and light earthiness. Flavor is lightly roasted malts, chocolate, light bitterness, and faint ash; dry finish. Thin, watery body with medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had it on tap at Moon River in Savannah. Black pour with a fluffy brown head. Easy to drink with light roasted malt flavors and sweetness. Low carbonation, but that goes well for a porter in my opinion. Overall, a great beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Moon River. It pours deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, light roast, earth, chocolate and caramel. The taste is bitter sweet, chocolate, caramel, mellow roast, toast, earth and coffee grinds with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice bitter-sweet balance adds to the drinkablity. Quaffable stuff.

Mellow, not too sweet or malty. Has a chocolate note to it that is nice. Good solid brew!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body and a very good lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt and dark malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow dark malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt toasted malt brown malt dark malt and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.
