| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Deep chocolate and roastiness lavish attention on the blackberry fruitiness within. A few love handles to hang on to, chewy malt complexity, and overall drinkability all cooperate to make this a very fine Porter.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the brown-sleeved black gown.
-Supporting hops are felt in the back, agreeing with the friendly roastiness.
-Carbonation’s perfect to let the malts shine and ease quaffability.
-A delicious pint of Porter is always comforting.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2004 Black color with tan head & lots of lacing. The aroma is smoky & roasted with fig and some dark fruit (cardamom?) the flavor is well balanced but very fruity & slightly weak & watery in the finish.
