Pours a deep, hazy gold. Aroma is the combination of a banana cream pie and pumpkin pie. Flavour has the wheat and banana weizen flavour with some sweetness from the pear, followed by vegetal pumpkin-ness. Finish is a little bit warming and spicey. Actually, two styles I’m not crazy about coming together nicely.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy turbid yellow brown with light head. Aromas of cloves and toasted pumpkin seeds. Flavors of a creamy light pumpkin pie with a doughy crust, plus a sweetness from the pears. Maybe better than the million other pumpkin ales out there this year but I still don’t get it.

Lagerboy (1235) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 3, 2013
Bomber. Unclear golden yellow, creamy white head settles and lasts. Aroma is fruity, floral with a blend of clove, wit and pie spices. Crisp pear, cinnamon and nutmeg, lightly pumpkined, lots of clove with a firm weizen backbone. Average carbonation, lighter bodied, low hopped. Interesting and unique, but still: NFL (Not For Lagerboys) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(16oz glass) Sampled at the brewpub on October 9th, 2013. Pours a hazy orange body with little head. Very floral nose with ample spice. Cinnamon and clove, yet a good eclipse of gourd and some pear sweetness. Not boozy not is it vegetable - I actually like this because of the decent carbonation and citrus and sweet base. Nice.

(16oz glass) Purchased at the brewpub for $5.00. Thin, frothy head atop a clear orange body.. Nose is amazing, somewhat a Lush cinnamon soap body. Same for the flavour, highly fragrant and great minuscule pear sweetness to counter the gourd. Little detection of the ABV.
