3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A very grassy clean pilsner. Good.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh a week or two after receiving the bottle from mcberko, thanks a lot Matt.
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is very grassy (juicy freshly cut grass), ripe pineapples, apple juice, a bit of cat urine, a mild countryside character. Taste is grainy pale biscuits, dried banana peels, a zest of lime, citrusy note, lots of grass juice. Pleasant grassy bitterness leaving an after-taste sensation that is like having a mouthful of freshly cut green grass. Pretty good overall but some skunky notes bring down my score, especially since this was a fresh bottle. Despite its flaws this is something I could drink gallons of. Sure people who drink less than I do are healthier than I am, but these people will never know what it is to have a real honest conversation with a microwave oven at 4am.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
650ml bomber bottle pours a bright golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grains and grass with hints of yeast. Taste is a bold grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a grainy malt sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very well balanced and quite tasty. I really enjoyed this pilsner and recommend it to others.

Bomber. Clear light golden yellow, white pillowy head settles and mostly fades leaving some soapy lacing. Aroma of grain, bready malt and grassy citrus hops. Tart citrus earthy grassy hop bitterness dominates taste and continues through the finish and lingers into the aftertaste, balanced nicely with a graham cracker like maltiness. Average carbonation, light bodied, moderately hopped. Clean and crisp, medium dry finish. Very good. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of moderate grassy hops, crackery and biscuity malts, and a distinct German quality. Flavour is very refreshing, full of dry grassy hops, German lager yeast, and crackery malts. Exceedingly drinkable with loads of flavour for a low ABV pils. Surprisingly excellent stuff!
