Tall can from Bottle Jockey in Burnaby. A pale amber beer with moderate white head and trace of beer nose. A lightly hopped and malted session lager, but with a bit more flavor than the macros. Slightly fruity and hoppy. 2.4

On tap at the brewpub. Very pale yellow, hazy (even paler than the pils!). Lovely light blood orange citrus character, clean, crisp, refreshing.

473 ml can. Hazed pale whiter yellow, lasting snow-white froth. Orange zest rescues an otherwise muted lagery aroma. Tastes of weak bland malt with some orange citrus, reminiscent of a cheap thin hefe. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. LF (Lagerboy Friendly) I suppose.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very weak, with rice and hay. Flavour is smooth and light, with notes of rice, grassy hops, and a nice crisp bite. Pretty light and unassuming, but well-made. Decent stuff.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear straw, white head. Nose is a lot of rice, as in the actual grain and not just the driness, citrus. flavour is more of that wet perfumy rice along with the driness, pils malt, finish is dry. heavier body than expected. alright fresh... rice is more apparent than most "rice" lagers, I guess because it’s not completely fermented or they used jasmine or something. i think i’d choose an asahi over this. 2.0
