From tap at Jupiter, Berkeley. Pours clear and golden orange with no head. Aroma is wooden, acidic, vague acetone and notes of overripe fruit. Sweet and fruity flavoured. Light citric note. Slowly going more acidic towards the finish. Nice sourish end.

Draft @ Jupiter during Sour Monday. Pours a deep, reasonably clear ruby color; thin, fine-bubbled off-white head with patchy lacing; very deep color; lots of candy and red fruits in the aroma; sweet, but restrained; hints of balsamic vinegar and a very, very distant funk in the nose. Medium-to-full body: medium balsamic-y character (light vinegar; slight tartness) next to candies and red fruit that feels a touch cloying, sadly; a bit sweet, and a strongly sweet-and-sour / Duchesse-like presentation. Some lasting balsamic, red fruits, and vinegar tartness. Very lax sour development overall.

(Sour Monday - Jupiter) Draft. Seriously sweet. Almost like sweet unfermented wort. Really could have used some balance.

On tap at Triple Rock Sour Monday. Pours orange ruby with a thin beige head and a fruit aroma. It’s only slightly tart, but still very tasty.

Tasting at Jupiter’s sour Monday. I haven’t tried too many sour ales, but this has to be the most pleasant and drinkable I’ve had so far. Malty aroma with some fruity sourness. Sour flavor, but it’s bready, malty, and not vinegary. Very pleasant, but I’m looking for something more flavorful for my next tasting.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach, CA. It’s apparently a wild yeast cultivated by the brewer and it’s definitely got a sourness to it. Definitely drinkable and lemoney like a Berlinerweisse or something, but with some malt color and apparently 5.8% alcohol to back it up. Coolest rating of my trip to CA so far.

Great sour beer on tap at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach. I would almost compare the sourness to that which you find when you add a lemon to water. It doesn’t really take center stage, but you know something is there. Well done and delightfully refereshing. I would buy more if there were more than 20 gallons produced ever.
