AdamSkillin (364), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA Aug 25, 2007 On tap at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach, CA. It’s apparently a wild yeast cultivated by the brewer and it’s definitely got a sourness to it. Definitely drinkable and lemoney like a Berlinerweisse or something, but with some malt color and apparently 5.8% alcohol to back it up. Coolest rating of my trip to CA so far. UselessGdTaste (359), Long Beach, California, USA Aug 23, 2007 Great sour beer on tap at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach. I would almost compare the sourness to that which you find when you add a lemon to water. It doesn’t really take center stage, but you know something is there. Well done and delightfully refereshing. I would buy more if there were more than 20 gallons produced ever. bb (2088), Martinez, California, USA Aug 13, 2007 Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. nice tart, lemony citrus aroma. Lemony, tart, oaky flavor. Lingering lemony tartness. medium body. Medium sour, not harsh, but refreshing.
