| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 7, 2009 On Tap at Taps during the grand opening as well. Deep ruby color. Intense vinegar aromas I found to be intolerable. Overwhelming any other aspects of the beer. Very light bodied with low carbonation. I absolutely love sour beers, but this came across too musty. I forced down a couple more sips before rendering it virtually undrinkable. I would not drink this again. Sour is one thing, tart is another. Vinegar is for fish & chips not for beer. Many apologies to Brian Hunt, I usually love all his beers. AgentSteve (1379), SF Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Pours a bright golden with a spicy and sour nose. The flavor has a big hop front that subsides to a citrus tart mid to finish. Decent lasting finish. BrianK (190), Livingston, New Jersey, USA

Before I tried this one someone told me it reminded them of Salt and Vinegar Potatoe chips. They were right. Pours orangish brown with a thin offwhite head, some lace. Smells sour with a lot of vinegar. Tastes hoppy and malty with huge, sour, salty vinegar flavors as well. Nice. I wonder if it’s the hops and the brett mixing to make all the salt and vinegar flavor. Medium, dry body with good carbonation. Snojerk321 (2034), San Diego, California, USA

Aromas of red wine, tart cherries and oak. By now my palate was done for, I think I tasted oak and something sour.......haha.....no more sours for me for a while. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA
