On tap @ The Trappist. Golden orange pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is bread, dough, and a hint of toast. A bit of grassy hops, some nice floral notes, yeast, and maybe a hint of spice. Nice sweetness to the flavor. Plenty of bread, dough, and toast. Good malt character. Lots of grassy and floral hops. Slightly yeasty and mildly spicy. Solid.

On tap at Flavor in Santa Rosa. Pour is clear golden in appearance with a frothy white head and great lacing. Noble hoppy, grassy, grainy, cereal, straw, and biscuity aroma. Taste is grassy, corny, grainy, husky, crisp and clean with a lightly bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Not bad.

Poured up on tap at Jupiter in Berkeley. It pours with a deep gold body with the slightest of haze and supports a lasting off white head of foam. The mild aroma offers up spicy hops and some floral like hoppiness. The taste is rich and crisp and vibrant with cereal graininess, bitter floral hops, a bit of lemon and lime like citrus hop bitterness and then it picks up a bit more graininess into the finish. It leaves behind a pleasing crisp hop bitterness into the after taste.

Pale straw colour with a tight white head. The aroma is soft and a little bit malty. Soft and a touch minerally but with a light whiff of diacetyl that I could do without. Pretty clean otherwise with a touch of honeyed character. It’s okay but I’ve had better versions in my time.

A - Served a clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades very slowly leaving behind some nice lacing in the process. S - Aroma is a very nice balance of light biscuity malts, citrus hops, and some light fruity esters from the yeast. T - Starts off with some sweet biscuit malt wit ha nice balance of citrus hops and some lager esters in the background. Through the middle, some richer malt with a touch more hops and some light bitterness comes though. The finish is a mix of sweet biscuit malts with a touch of hops, some feint bitterness, and a bit of lager yeast that lingers. M - Medium-plus bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a very crisp and lightly dry finish. D - Super drinkable. Very well balanced and very refreshing while still being fully flavored and retaining body.
