The aroma is tart berries and honey. The appearance is blood red. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical. Overall it’s not that great but not bad.

This mead focus more on the tart of the juice then the sweetness of the honey. The color is a nice strong purple color. It's dominate tart first ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crazy good. All the fruitiness melds into a sort of pie-filling, jammy sweet melange and actually make it so that the honey sweetness is a minor player rather than the dominant force. Truly great mead.

Bottle. Medium, clear, maroon pour, aroma is dark berries up front with sweet mead in the background. Flavor is mostly ripe red berries forward, complex, slightly tart, with mead in the background. Really like how berries are the main feature here, and the mix gives it some nice complexity as far as that goes. Backed by a good amount of sweet mead. Little chewy, substantial. Finishes with the berries and mead lingering. Really like this one a lot.

Bottle sample at Provisions - Northampton, MA. Pours clear, reddish-purple. Lovely, with lots of jammy blueberries. Decadent and sweet, with layers of honey and berry fruits. Full bodied, thick, somewhat chewy. Finishes with light warmth, lots of sticky sugars, delicious interplay between the fruits and the honey. Extremely drinkable and tasty. World-class.

Lovely currant aroma, litle head which helped out any lack of dryness and brought out slight sweetness. Great balance with the other fruits. It was so nice that the cherries did not overpower the more delicate fruits. SO GOOD
