Poured from a 375ml bottle. Honey, vanilla, spicy coffee, fruity. This finished drier then I thought it would making it drinkable. A very interesting mead.

Really interesting bottle thanks to Dallas! Pours a clear yellow color. A nice rich nose of honey, floral notes and banana. The flavor is immediately full of big vanilla, some light coffee, huge honey, viscous, banana. Very good.

Bottle from Charles Street Liquors. 15.2% edition. "Romance by the glass". Shit, maybe I should change out of these sweat pants.
Baby Duvel tulip. Soggy cork. Looks like Darjeeling tea.
Sweet, fruity, tart, nougat-y scent. Mild, chocolaty, tobacco-infused coffee lingers about.
Early apple tartness lends way to tobacco, melding earthy/woody vanilla, baking chocolate, smoke, & just a drip of hazelnut-like coffee. Bitter, lingering apple peel/core.
Smooth, deep, & decently bitter, despite the sweetness. Coffee doesn’t get too intense. Could try to be a bit denser, but it tastes invigorating & relaxing at the same time. Definitely should let this sweat before popping. Caffeine!
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 oteyj (2114) - New Hampshire, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Clear yellow syrupy pour with no head. Epic vanilla bourbon notes lead to espresso and creamy caramel. Uber sweet but very flavorful, and never cloying. Syrupy thick palate with a sweet finish.

Bottle ($22.19 375ml). Pours with a clear golden body with strong legs. Still. Aromas of huge, spicy coffee. Lightly vegital, peppery, tobacco, vanilla, honey, earthy. A hint of acidity. A bubblegum like ester. Really different. Minimal alcohol. Flavors are ... wow. Interesting! Rich, earthy, spicy coffee. Huge tobacco notes. Vanilla creamer. A very interesting coffee experience. Medium sweet. Light tannin and a touch of acidity in the finish that helps balance the sweetness nicely. Well constructed on that account. A faint hint of smoke from the coffee. Medium to slightly full bodied for a mead. Good viscosity. Still. Not hot at all. Possibly a good cigar mead right here. Really good, very unique!
