Pours a flat golden. Aromas of nice sweet apple, honey, and notes of cinnamon. Flavors are boozy bourbon, sweet sweet sweet honey and apple.. Definitely get the apple pie thing.. Vanilla gets lost in all the sweetness. Still a solid flavorful mead.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a very light, translucent, almost white-colored yellow with no head at all - I saw a few soapy bubbles, but they were almost instantly gone. Aroma is not entirely apple pie, but apples, some residual pie notes. Flavor is some light apple, cinnamon, booze, sweetness. Even with all that booze, it’s still pretty mellow.

Bottle big thanks to Leighton. Aroma of honey, smokey spices, cinnamon. Taste of honey, cinamon, apple pie.... Sweet. Delish

Super still dry hay pour. Aroma is pie dough, cinnamon, tart Granny Smith’s, bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Flavor is similar but something just isn’t as inviting. Alcohol warmth. Wishing there was some brown sugar, caramel, or toffee coming through...still a decent mead.

Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, 10/12/14. Clear light golden with a few bubbles atop. Nose is apple pie, spice, sweet notes, nutmeg. Taste comprises sweet apple pie, shortcrust pastry, spice, clove, sweet apple pulp, honey licks. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close fairly sweet but the sweetness doesn’t run away too much. Tasty mead.

From a bottle in Savannah. Pours clear pale yellow. Smells like bourbon, vanilla, sweet honey, spice, and oak. Tastes delicious like sweet apples, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon notes. Very smooth and well done.

Bottle at Chriso’s Christmas tasting, London. Many thanks to Leighton for this one! It pours a slightly hazy very pale straw color with no head to speak of. Aroma is very sweet with loads of cooked apples a tiny bit of plastic and light booze. Taste is similarly very sweet with baked apples, candy sugar and caramel. Medium palate, sticky, flat. Overall, very good
