Jacksonville bottle. Pours a clear straw, yellow color with no head just some bubbles on the edges. Not much of an aroma beyond a touch of booze and light sweetness. The flavor definitely has some nice apple touches with the sweet honey. Spice and warming booze in the finish. Okay.

Bottle. Pours pale golden with no carbonation. Aroma is heavy spice, Apple, and mild honey. Taste is cinnamon forward, with Apple through the finish. A bit too spice heavy and very slightly cloying

Pour on tap at Beer House, clear golden pour, still pour, aroma brought notes of big honey, vanilla, spice into some booze, slight apple notes with a touch of lemon. Taste was a mix of apple, cinnamon, ginger into a slight crackery note into honey, vanilla, touch of booze, finishing slightly sweet. Pretty tasty.

Pours a flat golden. Aromas of nice sweet apple, honey, and notes of cinnamon. Flavors are boozy bourbon, sweet sweet sweet honey and apple.. Definitely get the apple pie thing.. Vanilla gets lost in all the sweetness. Still a solid flavorful mead.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a very light, translucent, almost white-colored yellow with no head at all - I saw a few soapy bubbles, but they were almost instantly gone. Aroma is not entirely apple pie, but apples, some residual pie notes. Flavor is some light apple, cinnamon, booze, sweetness. Even with all that booze, itís still pretty mellow.

Super still dry hay pour. Aroma is pie dough, cinnamon, tart Granny Smithís, bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Flavor is similar but something just isnít as inviting. Alcohol warmth. Wishing there was some brown sugar, caramel, or toffee coming through...still a decent mead.

Bottle split at LKS íBeers of Londoní Tasting, high up, 10/12/14. Clear light golden with a few bubbles atop. Nose is apple pie, spice, sweet notes, nutmeg. Taste comprises sweet apple pie, shortcrust pastry, spice, clove, sweet apple pulp, honey licks. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close fairly sweet but the sweetness doesnít run away too much. Tasty mead.
