A sample at the Julios meadfest, not too much vanilla on this one. Apple is dominant

Bottle shared at Jeffís. Clear a dull pale yellow color, still appearance. Aroma is a mix of apple pie spices and honey. Taste brings lots of all spice, honey, and light apple tartness. A touch boozy in the finish but still really smooth for 17%. Good stuff.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy apple pie with light cinnamon and honey. It pours a dull transparent gold with no head. The flavor starts with heavy apple pie with a hint of cinnamon. Thereís also light-moderate honey with just a touch of a loan the finish. Itís medium bodied with minimal carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle: Light, urine-yellow & straw body, still with no head at all, not even any bubbles upon pouring. Aroma of heavy wood, light cinnamon, honey, faint apple, & a moderate booziness flowing through everything. Taste is more honey forward than expected. Alcohol takes a backseat. Heavy, heavy sweet honey with very light notes of cinnamon & a touch of apple fruity tartness in the undertow. A nice mead, but it doesnít remind me as much of apple pie as I would expect.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours clear light golden with no head and a fermented honey aroma. There is a smooth fermented honey flavor with some sweet apple and cinnamon.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours light gold with no head. Aroma is very cinnamon. Near full bodied. Flavor is so, so cinnamon. Vanilla is second fiddle. Finishes just a little sweet. Well, a bit more than just a little sweet.

Clear yellow pour, with no head. Very sweet, honey, apple pie, cider, and light notes of cinnamon. Tasty sipping mead, lots of fruit. I like it but all the high ratings from people with 10 ratings is suspicious.

Clear honey gold no head or carbonation. Cinnamon pie crust and honey floral. Sweet honey apple with only hints of cinnamon. Concentrated flavors without being overpowering. Very good stuff to share with some close friends.

A slam dunk... on draft itís as good as in the bottle. Love the way the apple tís up the spices. Some sweetness but it works, supports the alcohol and this goes down way to easy.
