Mead generously shared at RBWG. Pours a still hazy amber. Nose is light honey, raspberry, currant, and some tart notes. Flavor is similar- some light honey followed by berries, currants, and some tart notes from the ingredients. Light to medium in body and nice overall.

first mead of the weekend! .. deep gold on the pour .. still .. . grape, honey, and odd fruit .. . good but forgettable .. . when someone calls ’shotgun’, I yell ’rosa parks’ and sit in the seat and refuse to move.

Sweet honey aroma fruity.
The flavor is sweet with a fruity tartness.

375ml bottle-pours amber with white bubbles. Aroma is berries, light/medium malt. Taste is red currant, honey, light/medium malt.

375 ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear pretty red with no head. This is a still mead. Pleasant aroma of sweet honey and red currants. The flavor is a combination of two strong flavors; the sweet honey and tart red currants. Both elements are very identifiable and separately distinguishable, and never really come together. Very flavorful, although I am not sure this is something I would reach for on a regular basis.
