COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This little number is sweet and secy, just the right balance between the honey and the red currants. Enjoy this with a variety of complex dishes, like Durbon curried chicken (a South African favorite), Moroccan lamb, or Beef stew.

light honey aroma, good amount of red currant notes, clean. Light reddish hue, crystal clear, long lasting legs hang on the edge of the glass. Great expression of tartness, acidity in check, finishes semi-sweet, long currant notes in the finish.

Lots going on with this one, the balance of acidity, check it out kind of like a lambic, and honey is spot on. The red currants add a light pink hue to the mead.

Tangy, and Tart really plays well with the honey... not as aggressively tart as some of the other meads, this one I like quite a bit.

Just the right tartness, lambic like, or light? lol... A light pink hue, red currant all the way. Tangy.

Tart, almost a bit like a lambic, without the funk. It’s easy to drink could see this with lots of different dishes.

Bottle sample at Provisions - Northampton, MA. Delicious. Great honey character with nips of berries and lightly bitter berry skins dancing about. Light warmth in the finish. Great balance. Delectable.

The floral honey notes lead the way, with a light berry note in the finish, pleasing not overly compile. The clarity is crystal clear, pour still, strong legs hug the side of the glass. Flavor, semi-sweet from the honey, bit of tartness from the red currants, YUM! Very long finish with just the right acidity to balance.

Draft at NHC. Pours a deep gold, pushing coppery red. Still, good clarity. Nose is red berries, cranberry with a subtle floral component underneath. On tasting, moderate acidity and balanced. Feels semi-sweet with good structure. Good honey profile to this as well. Nice stuff.

Cherry red pour with light pink head. Aroma is sour black cherries and abv. Flat black cherry flavor with a nice abv warmth. Full bodied with no carbonation.

Mead generously shared at RBWG. Pours a still hazy amber. Nose is light honey, raspberry, currant, and some tart notes. Flavor is similar- some light honey followed by berries, currants, and some tart notes from the ingredients. Light to medium in body and nice overall.
