Pours a nice yellow hue. Aroma is rich sweet honey. Flavor is honey, sweet but not overly so. Light vanilla and a touch of oak. One of the best non polish traditional meads I have ever had.

A golden mead with aroma of sweet clover honey, resinous character, pungent. In mouth, a nice sweet honey with light chalky character, maple syrup, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at Cajun Café spring beer fest 2016.

CanIHave4Beers (3999) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - APR 15, 2016
Bottle, courtesy of a kindly gentleman in a location remote of my library.
Pours a pale golden color, perfectly still.

The aroma is sweet and indeed has a good bit of honey therein but it also has a light bit of stone fruit and mango with a light bit of white grape and mustiness.

The flavor just pops with a huge honey and melon character that gives way to a mild waxiness, a bit of earthiness, and a lovely white grape and light alcohol spiciness.

a very good example of an unadulterated honey mead.

Bottle from The Beer Junction, Seattle; synthetic cork

Hazy dark blond color. To be frank, I had German supermarket meads at 3€ for 750ml that were as good as this one; too much honey and wax. Moderate sweetness, warming alcohol but no booze kick.
No pleasure.
