330ml Can . It has a fucken gorgeous khaki foam head with a deep abyss blackness . If the late Aaliyah were a beer she would look like this . Nice espresso roast nose suggestions that this shit will taste bitter . Dry , bitter and roasted accents as I swill this boost . Light bitter hop florals complement the dry roast bitterness . This is really pretty good for a low boost coffe Stout .

Can from Rehills of Jesmond. Pours deep mahogany with a frothy cream head. Mild coffee and pine aroma. The taste is fairly spicy to begin with, with pine hop notes. In creasing amount of coffee come through in the finish. Nicely bitter. Light body with fairly high carbonation. Very drinkable. Good stuff.

330ml can at home, 4.5%, BB Oct 2016 as ’Moor Dark Alliance’. Black with a huge foamy tan head which leaves thick lacing. Aroma is ash, pine, earth, dirty blackberries. Body is medium to light, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is earthy, coffee, pine, dark chocolate, ash, dry salty finish. Pretty hoppy and dry. Perfect balance. For such a low ABV stout, this really is great. Could drink a dangerous amount of this.

Aroma: intense coffee, toasted malts, burnt flavours. Appearance: black, massive, creamy, beige head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: filter coffee, bitters continue and intensify, toasted, dark malts, fairly bitter finish, coffee notes last for a while. Overall: nice Stout, great coffee flavours throughout, could do with a bit more body. Can from Independent Spirit, Bath.

Bottle. Black beer with a strong light brown coloured head. The aroma is yeasty and mildly malty, and the flavour is quite bitter with a mild yeasty maltiness about it. Overall a nice stout with good bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

660ml bottle. Pours black with a thick creamy beige head. Aroma is strong roasted malts, coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla. Similar taste, very good coffee flavor, robust roastiness, nice bitter finish with burnt and hoppy notes. Full body, thick mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Excellent.
