Cask, keg and bottle conditioned;
Hoppy coffee stout originally brewed as a collaboration with Arbor Ales. The beer was so loved it was tweaked and continues as a rotating seasonal in collaboration with Clifton Coffee Company.

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, ash, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, roasted, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130331]

Draft. A brown beer with a red shine under a huge lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt, leading to a dry coffee finish.

Draught at Bishops Arms Gustav. Black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Fruity and roasted aroma of pine needles with notes of licorice and elderflowers. Fruity and roasted flavour of elderflowers and licorice. Roasted finish.

Draft @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate licorice aroma with hoppy hints. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with hoppy bitter hints in the aftertaste.

The Hope, Carlshalton. Opaque black brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and slightly dry with fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little coffee and a little roast. Mild minerals. Nice tangy fruits - subtle red berries and more dominant dark fruits. Semi dry finish with coffee and well behaved hops. Very drinkable.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London during the Second Birthday Party. Pours rich brown with a fine, tan cream head. Dry roasted malts and coffee in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, dry, with minerals, rich coffee, dirt, baking cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, lightly sweet with burnt coffee, earth, and more baking cocoa. Very decent.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Pitch black beer with a nice lasting beige head. Hoppy roasted aroma, chocolate, cocoa powder, soot, grassy, metal notes, earthy, floral, notes of licorice, vanilla notes, citrus, caramel. Hoppy soot flavor, dark chocolate, cocoa, licorice, ash, some tar, citrus, woody notes. Lots of flavors to be this ABV. Roasted finish with dark chocolate, soot, Wood, earthy notes and some grass. Very nice.
