Lovely full head to match its stunning body. Nice alc depth and a piney finish to balance the long hop finish. good beer

Scopey (7075) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle at Sylvan Post, Forest Hill. It pours golden amber with small white head. The nose is fruit salad sweets, mango, tangerine, pineapple, sherbet, bread, light spice and pine. The taste is crisp, toasty, rye bread, spice, creamy orange, tangerine, sherbet and minerals with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice tropical fruit character. Balanced and very drinkable stuff.

Bottle, from Tomlinsons Inverness, on the train from Inverness to Hereford 21/10/13. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is juicy hops, bitter orange, citrus zest, toasted malts, lemon sherbet, light grapefruit, great nose for 4%. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, orange pith, mineral notes, grain, light rye tang, hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, subtle hop bitterness in the finale. A very flavoursome low ABV Hopical numero!

Hazy gold beer with a good white head. Lightly crisp palate. Minerals. Bready malt with a trace of raw grain. A little lager character here. Orange peel hops with a touch of grass. Crisp finish. Not bad but was hoping for better from these two brewers.

Quack-Duck (7958) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2013
bottle from Darts Farm. Hazy amber-brown colour, large off-white head. Grainy malty base, quite rustic and robust, but works well with the tropical-citrusy hops. Bitter-sweet, pleasantly fruity and very smooth.

650ml bottle from The Wine a Emporium. Not overly fussed on this beer. Not a real lot of flavour or aroma. Okay but not outstanding.

Bomba de mano. Vaso Shaker. Final prolongado y resinoso. Sabrosa y de fácil asimilación. Hand-pump. Shaker glass. Enjoyed at Homo Sibaris (Barcelona) in a simultaneous world-wide presentation. Pale amber color. White forth creates a close & thin lasting crown. Earthy, intense herbal & black bread aromas as well as hints of orange peel. Voluptuous upfront & ripe apricot flavor. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Oily texture. Ripe apricot & mango are slightly dried by increasing bitterness. Long resinous finish. Easy drinkable & flavorful.

660 ml bottle @ Ale & Hop, Barcelona. Pours a cloudy copper colour with a white lacy and foamy head. Aroma of very strong grassy hops, grapefruit and some biscuit. Rich flavour of strong citrusy hops, grass, floral notes, bread, strong herbal notes and weak caramel. Light bodied, extremely bitter finish with herbal notes and soft carbonation. Very good drinkability. My kind of a beer.

A very quaffable ale. A passionfruit nose (Galaxy?) A fruity and citrusy taste with a lingering spicy note - like white/green pepper. Very very tasty. At 4% I could sink a lot of these.

Well it looks great. Slightly hazy medium gold with a head you could build a house on. Smells quite nice too - peppery, grassy, citrussy nose with grapefruit, underripe mango and pine sap. The flavour follows well - gentle, which is fine for a session beer, but excellent St Clemensey hops with lots of spruce and pepper and grapefruit zest. Finish is fat and bitter and dry and long. Excellent colab from two great brewers.
