It pours very dark chocolate brown and has a thin beige head, good lacing. The aroma is coffee, roasted malts and loquorice and some woody hints. Medium body. Taste is coffe, chocolate, nuts and a long bitter ending that persists and preserves the coffee taste. Low carbonation. Easy to drink because of low ABV.

A wonderfully drinkable classic porter. Chocolate, caramel, and a smooth roasted malt. This is not a beer that is showing off, but it’s a nicely balanced porter, that us full of flavor. I could drink this all night long. When I read the stories of the old English Porters drinking after their shifts, this is the beer I imagine. Don’t know what else I could ask for.

Sweet flavour of chocolate, roasted malt, nuts, caramel and peat smoke with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.

660 ml bottle. Pours a black colour with a beige foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, some berries, nuts and grass. Flavour of roasted malts, dark chocolate, strong nuttiness, mild sourness, dark berries and very subtle coffee notes. Medium bodied with a bit too high carbonation. Finishes dry with bitter chocolate and some roastiness. Not sure if the mild sourness is intentional or not, but I like this.
