Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Aroma of a slightly malty bitter and it tastes like a very well made best bitter. OK malts, bit earthy. Nice malts and plenty of character. I remember thinking that I could score it higher, but just couldn’t find any reason too.

Keg at the Slaughtered Lamb - London. Pours cloudy, red-brown with a big and super tight tan cream cap. Rich tropical fruit aroma, lots of pine too, some melon, orange. Medium sweet flavor with ripe and juicy and citrusy hops, melon, mango, orange, papaya, lightly toasted grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous in the finish with loads more juicy and ripening fruits, citrus and tropical, light berries, sturdy malts underneath. Great stuff.
