Draught. Muddy deep amber liquid with small white head. Aroma of mango, toffee, pine, marmalade, tangerine, biscuit, sweet alcohol and dried fruit. Taste is light sweet and medium to high bitter with notes of mango, toffee, candy, caramel and sweet alcohol. A bit husky grainy notes as well. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Quite malt driven, not really a favorite.

Bottle. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, malt, hop. Flavour is grapefruit, pine, malt, hop. Bitter finish. Full body. Nice beer.

30/04/2013 Bibere (tap). Ambrata scarica, torbida, schiuma liquida leggera ma persistente. Al naso sentori di pesca, agrumi ed erbaceo, note di malto ben presenti. In bocca è luppolata decisa, con base di malto ben presente, resina, finale non secchissimo ma discreto, ottima persistenza dell’amaro. Corpo medio, lievemente superiore alle attese, carbonazione corretta. Non male, ma avrei gradito sentire un po’ di "English touch".

660ml bottle from BeerRitz. Golden amber colour, thin white head and aroma of grapefruit citrus, pine and hop resin. Taste is sweet caramel malt, juicy orange and grapefruit citrus, plus floral & pine resin notes, with hoppy bitterness through to a dry earthy warming finish. Oily mouth feel, medium bodied, soft carbonation. Quite drinkable IPA.

Af BBF. Orange colour. Hoppy and a little fruity aromas, bitter taste and slightly sweet.

On tap @Barcelona Beer Festival 2013. Hoppy aromas. Very unbalanced flavours. It went down the sunk, but seeing other reviews i guess it was in bad condition.

Cask @ Dukes 2013/03/14. Good condition. Slightest haze. Light orange in colour. Expected more of a hop presence considering the name! Perhaps a little sweet. Lots of alcohol for the ABV. Wouldn’t want a pint but would like to try bottle conditioned or keg.

Cask at Euston Tap, 13th March 2013. This is a lovely rich IPA, great mouth feel, luxurious, loads of hops as the name suggests, great aroma. Loved this one, up with the best UK IPAs

Bottle at CBC - Clerkenwell, London during Bruce’s 30th Birthday Party. Many thanks to...me. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, white cream head. Nice hoppy nose with citrus, orange, melon. Medium sweet flavor with pleasantly dry citrus, tangerine, melon, grapefruit and pine needles. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Light dryness to finish with hints of resinous pine needles, some toasty hay, lemon rind. Good stuff. Nice balance, cutting dryness. Certainly one of the better non-Kernel IPAs I’ve had in a while.
