COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Special;
What started out as a little bit of fun quickly became the favourite of many die hard ale fans and has become permanent. Probably best described stylistically as a Californian IPA, this beer has all the rich malt and fruit flavours of a Barley Wine combined with the hoppy crispness of a Pale Ale. And as best said by one of its biggest fans, "Hoppiness = Happiness."

660ml bottle @ home. Ordered from Ales By Mail. Aroma reminds me about forest after rain, quite nice look, refreshing taste after 5 days antibiotics cure :-) Pretty easy IPA. This bottle size is the best!

Bottle, Coppers, Newcastle. Lovely pale colour, white foaming head. Beautiful fresh pine hop, peach and mango notes too. Soft on the tongue, biscuit, peaches and cream flavours, with a full bodied resinous finish, with woody flavours creeping in to round off a stunning beer.

Looks like a decent pale ale, medium orange amber with an off white head, aroma of floral hops. Medium body, but too much bitterness and too little fruit flavour to be really good.

Ámbar limpio con espuma blanca compacta. Aromas intensos de pino, cítricos y menta. Cuerpo medio, maltoso de inicio, con intenso sabor fresco, cítrico, menta y final de amargor que recuerda al pino, largo e intenso.

Bottle from Bottledog Kings Cross. Cloudy, orangey golden with a steady head. Intense grapefruity hoppiness in the nose and in the mouth. Enough balancing fruity flavours to make this beer highly drinkable. Nice one.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Bright golden in colour with a sweet tropical fruit and malty flavour, peppery hop, toffee notes and a bitter pine, wood and a smooth grapefruit finish. Excellent!
