Cask, Special;
What started out as a little bit of fun quickly became the favourite of many die hard ale fans and has become permanent. Probably best described stylistically as a Californian IPA, this beer has all the rich malt and fruit flavours of a Barley Wine combined with the hoppy crispness of a Pale Ale. And as best said by one of its biggest fans, "Hoppiness = Happiness."

660ml bottle @ home. Ordered from Ales By Mail. Aroma reminds me about forest after rain, quite nice look, refreshing taste after 5 days antibiotics cure :-) Pretty easy IPA. This bottle size is the best!

Can from Bottle Baron, Edin. Pours hazy. Copper. Fluffy white head. Solid hop aroma. A tad underwhelming but full of fun nonetheless. Caramelised orange. Mango and papaya. Spicy, peppery notes. Good lacing in the glass. Medium to light carbonation. Medium mouthfeel. Taste is really juicy with peach. Definite mango. Some pithy orange rind. Medium bitterness and a palate-sharpening finish. Proper

Can in the Trembling Madness, York. Hazy amber with a frothy cream head. Nice pine aroma with maybe a touch of aniseed. The taste is nice and bitter with moderate spice and lots of pine. Caramel underlies. Very refreshing and drinkable. Excellent.

One of the best British US style IPAs , from a can, it’s full of fresh hop aromas, with a slight lemon influence. Very well balanced, so it feels quite creamy in your mouth, but it finishes with a nice hop burst. Great beer.
