Cask at Brasserie 4:20, Roma. Amber with a medium white head. Lackluster aroma and flavour of some biscuit malt, citrus and grass. OK bitterness. Some fruity in the finish.

Malty and strawberry/cherry aroma. Pours with a light amber hue with some lacing. Full creamy palate with a malty and strong bitter flavour. Excellent bitter.

From the cask in Oxford somewhere. From old notes. Medium copper color. A bit sweet, malt driven flavor with fruit and caramel. Decent enough hops. Thicker body; mellow.

Aroma is rich traditional ale maltiness with some slight carbonation. Taste is light sweet malts met fairly quickly with basic floral and slightly earthy bitterness. Appearance is a murky orange with a pearl creamy bubbly head.

660ml bottle from BeerRitz. Hazy amber brown, not much head, a bit flat. Fruity grain malt aroma. Dry rustic malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A bit watery and disappointing for a Moor beer.

Bottle to American pint glass Sweet citrus, grains, and some skunk. Hazy amber with a huge off white head that quickly settles to 2-3 mm. The head is quite bubbly and coats the sides if the glass and doesnít appear to be going anywhere. The taste is grains, white pepper, light yeast with bitterness throughout.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Incredibly gassy brew-- not a gusher, but a column of foam ominously rises from the neck of the bottle; when poured, the beer expands to fill the glass with pure foam, requiring about 8 installments to do the job. Light grassy hop aroma fights with plastic phenols. he palate is watery and nearly flat after that epic de-gassing during the pour. Light citrus and grass, light biscuit malt, with a faint plastic note in the finish that is mercifully not as prevalent as in the aroma. Obviously past its prime.

Bottle - Mild fruity apricot and citrus, with a bit of bread. Very foamy with a bubbly white head and cloudy copper. Citrus and a pithy bitterness with a bit of bread. Way too carbonated, so much so it ruins any subtlety this beer may have had. The label says malts, I donít get it and it would have been much better if it was.

66 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canda vis CoOp Liquors. Very foamy! Burnt apricot colour, thick head. Bread and passionfruit aroma. Citrus hops. Quite carbonated, lime and brown sugar flavour. Finish has more caramel and a very slight citrus resin.

660ml brown bottle. Hazy orange colour with some dark yeast floaties. Huge white head with stiff peaks. Thick lacing coating the glass. Nose has big orange peels and is fruity. Citrusy taste with orange and tangerine with nice UK malt in the backbone, light fruitiness. Citrusy finish, again orange peel and tangerine, lasting bitterness. Light body, mild carbonation. Decent bitter, easy drinking. Is it worth $10.99 CND? Probably not, but Iím glad I tried it.

0.66l bottle. This is a cloudy deep peachy orange one and it has a nice medium sized almost bubbly off-white head that sticks around for some time. Really nice hoppy and fruity aroma on this. Grassy hoppy with traces of both caramel, citrus and marmalade. Smells quite nice. It has a thin oily mouthfeel with a below average carbonation level. Birch hoppy flavors with grass, earthy hops, mineral water and some faint fruitiness. A really good balanced kinda dry bitterness in this. Not to challenging, but Iím really thirsty right about now, and this killed that thirst in a brutal way. 09.08.2013
