3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Legacy Liquor in Vancouver. An almost black beer with a moderate tan head. Big malts on the tongue, but they are not heavily roasted. The overall impression is rather sweet and fruity. No bitterness detected. Finish is as expected; malty, sweet and fruity. Very smooth and mellow, I’m moved to say. Not a tasting note found often on these pages, it seems. Nice.
