Our Amoor, made even more decadent with the addition of Reserve Port. This velvety beer is very popular around the holidays and goes particularly well with puddings.

Dark with ruby highlights and cola head. Smooth, silky, rich roast, dark fruit, port influence definitely makes itself known, long rich finish.

On cask at CP & K, Pimlico. What a nice silky pull this is, with a thick, rich, velvety body that is certainly inviting, even on a relatively balmy afternoon. Nice nose of mild peat and chocolate, a dash of roasted malts. Definitely a bit more tang and port to taste, making it extremely well-rounded and complex overall.

Cask @ CPK. Deep brown color with a tiny tan head. The nose is very faint roasted malts, some chocolate, vinous red grape skin. The taste is red grape, wood, bitter chocolate. Very roasty, mildly dry finish. Light, easy to drink. Overall, another very solid beer from Moor.

Scopey (3357) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2012
Cask at CP&K. It pours deep ruby-amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is smoke, earth, roasted malt, caramel, wood and liquorice. The taste is earth, wood, smoke, leather, roasted malt, dark fruit, some residual caramel sweetness and light smoke, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth and very flavoursome for the alcohol percentage.

Cask at Holyrood 9A. Black pour, creamy head that sticks around forever. Tangy roast malt, slight port fruit nose. Smooth full malt body, more tanginess, slightly burnt malt finish. Lovely.

On cask at The Red Squirrel. Pours a dark brown colour with a thin, light tan head. A big chocolate aroma with Ovaltine malt and caramel. Similar flavours with just a little port wine to finish. Mild carbonation. Nice.
