660 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of strong citrusy hops, biscuit, pine and fresh juicy orange. Flavour of fresh juicy fruitiness, biscuity malts, very high bitterness, floral notes, orange, some yeastiness and some earthiness. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes bitter, juicy and quite yeasty. Towards the end the bitterness grows and it gets more juicy. A tad too musty, but still refreshing and enjoyable. Has some similarities with Kernel’s APA’s, especially with the yeastiness.

Keg at Howl at the Moon. It pours golden amber with a thick white head. The nose is orange sherbet, tangerine, orange tango, dough, pine and light hay. The taste is crisp, bitter, resin, pithy orange, lemon, grapefruit, grass and minerals with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Eminently drinkable. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Great stuff.

Tap at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy yellow. Thin, but tight, white head. Aroma is like toast and marmalade. (Or am I just hungry?). Dry, piny and oily. Nice beer.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’13. Cloudy amber with white head. Well flavoured beer, good hoppy grapefruit notes, lots of zest and oily hops. Lingering on the palate. Definitely my beer of the day.

Half pint, from the keg menu at the Hanging Bat. Opaque amber coloured body. Spotty lacing. Filmy layer. Fresh fruity aroma. Medium dry malt-fruity taste, pine, dusty hops and earthy malts. Nice bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant brew (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a slight, filmy white head. The aroma holds mostly jammy citrus fruits, some lightly toasted pale malts and pine needles. Light to medium sweet flavor with further jammy, semi-ripe citrus fruit, tangerine, orange, light spicy pine. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly sticky and resinous on the finish, plenty more jammy citrus character. The beer is a bit flat, unfortunately. I’m sure it would be a lot better in better condition.
