May, 2012. JDW, Rochester. Very good! Fresh and tasty. Lovely splash of citric hops on a sweet malt base. Very drinkable, full of life and flavour, anbd very refreshing.

Aroma has peaches, grain and hay. Flavour is somewhat fruity with peaches, hay and hops. The hops grow stronger and more harsh towards the grassy finish. There’s some gooseberry bush notes that get stronger towards the end of the glass. Quite typical real APA.

Zesty hop aroma. Full palate, pleasant carbonation. Lovely persistent tight spongy head. Nice sweet zingy hop taste. Good balance, with nice, gently sweet, bready malts. A lovely bittter, a simple beer, but quite delicious.

(Cask at Angleterre, 20130327) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and harsh bitterness. Afteraste was fruity and bitter. Aroma was good but the harsh flavour was a disappointing surprise.

Cask at the Pullman's, Helsinki, Finland. Cloudy golden colour with a tiny off-white head. Apple, mild cider notes, bitter hops and yeast in the aroma. The flavour is bitter hops, yeast, malt and dryness. Hmmm... Very dry and unimaginative. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear golden orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of crisp lemony hops, hints of malts and caramel. Taste is smooth, sweetish and hoppy with notes of lemon, grass and citrus. Finish is hoppy and malty with some sweetness. Nice, quite balanced and easy going APA.

Pours a golden cloudy colour with a white head. Aroma of bready malts, biscuit and dried fruits. Flavour of bready malts, grassy hops, floral notes and strong hay. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Finishes bitter and slightly malty. Good drinkability and overall a solid real ale.

Cask conditioned handpump Wetherspoons Leeds 05/02/13. A golden coloured beer with a tight white head and lace. A good Cascadey citrussy aroma with a touch of perfume and some tropical fruit. A good citrus mouth but an odd sickly sweetness means it doesn’t gel properly. A little chewy. Has good points but the sweetness in the mouth means it’s not topnotch.
