NOt too sure about how this 500 ml bottle is going to go, it was sitting all alone and forlorn on a bright lit unrefridgerated shelf in Cost Plus World Market. Well here goes. Good looks, dark ,dark brown, lovelly full creammy tan head. Ah great the aroma is OK..cocoa powder and figs, rum and raisin. Ah nice taste too all of the above with a nice semi-=bitter finish. Ok on the palate, thin finish to be expected from this style. Drinkable Mild..oh I would love to taste this fresh at the source. If its this good after such treatment as I saw today it must be near a "5" beer fresh.

Bottle courtesy of Swalden28. Nice dark brown appearance with touches of red. Small small smell of butter. Some roasted notes with malt. Bland taste. Some feelings of dry grain but mostly dry popcorn kernels with bitterness.

Metallic aroma. Black with little-off-white head. Flavour is sweetish with roast caramel, chocolate and coffee. Medium-bodied. Finishes sweetish coffee. Pretty good.

Black color. Very smooth palate, which seems to be a characteristic of the milds i have had. Good malt flavor, not it it nos very intense, and what is there lightly roasted with some wood. I found this very drinkable and with enough flavor to keep me interested.

From a bottle this poured dark brown with a small tan head and light lacing. Nose of coffee and chocolate. Medium to creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is more chocolate malts than anything. Light bitter finish.

Bottle. Different label. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is nutty, slight coffee, leather, malty, chocolate. Flavor is somewhat weak coffee, light smoke and some roasted nuts. Pretty creamy mouthfeel.
