A classic mild at the right gravity sampled on the first hot day of the year. Roasted aroma, big creamy head, the taste belies its strength. Black cherry, hints of coffee and chocolate, toasted muffins, really nice.

Aroma: Chocolate, but with a nice amount of black cherry and black berry as well. Maybe a little fruitier than expected, but very nice. Appearance: Dark ruby with a ring of bone head. Flavor: Chocolate and light cherry mingle up front; the finish is dry and somewhat chalky. Palate: Light body, thin texture, flat carbonation, long finish. Overall: A nice mild with some interesting character.

Thanks to Seanyfo. The Beer is very dark, white-beige head. malty-chocolate smell. The beer starts a bit watery, malty. Dry. The mainpart is medium-deep, a bit roasted, very dry. But not very deep. In the aftertaste hazelnut, roasted malt dominate. The nutty aroma lasts long with dry roasted malts. --> Nice aroma, but could be a bit more deep. --> 12/12/9/10
