Fair display of lacework. Brown color. Aroma was quite complex for a 3.4% beer with notes of dusty hoppy feel, mild bitter chocolate like notes. Quite flavorful and lovely tasting. Over the palate came also notes of roasted and light dry notes properly a combination of the malt and hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor well balanced. Light dry and dusty hoppy floral finish. limalimamoli (52), Oceanside, California, USA

Assertively bitter and well-roasted in the vein of Cain’s Dark Mild. Earthily roasty with some tempering fudginess. "Oaky", says Helen.
