This beer is very dark with a grainy aroma but has a thin palate and tastes watery. The flavour did not match the appearence and was disappointing.

One of the better lower-alcohol beers I've had in a while. Dark brown, nice puffy head that faded. Nose is roasty, plenty of malts. Surprisingly aggressive roasty character, lots of chocolate and a bit of coffee bitterness. Bit thin in both the flavor and the palate, but still pretty enjoyable stuff.

Pours a deep dark ruby color. Aroma consists of roasted malts and chocolate. Beer is somewhat watery with hints most of the flavor being of roasted malts. Mild seems appropriate for this ale.

Bottled. Typically roast malt nose, low hops and a sweet, coffee accented body. Soft sweet finish.

I am unfamilar with this style, so here it goes. The color of this was very good, being a very dark amber color with a nice head, which didn’t hold though. It might have been due to the beer temperature however. The aroma smell of coffee and malt. The taste was almost a combination of sweet and bitter. The body of it seemed a little light for a dark ale, but then again that might be indicative of a mild ale.

Pours dark as night. Aroma is faint with some malts. Flavor is a little bitter chocolate and caramel. Slightly watery but not completely unflavorful. Overall its ok.

Dark brown color with a thin head. Aroma of dry malt. Just some general malt taste with a slightly bitter finish. Nothing too special.

Nice medium to light feeling beer. Very dark and easy to drink. Not what I was prepared for, but it was enjoyable all the same.
